Shiok Maki

Dayums !
Finally had time/budget/decided to try out Koh Sushi & Grill.
It is no doubt that they are popular for their shiok!maki and the super long queue at Wisma Atria's Food Republic.

Apparently it has a rather small shop space and long waiting time. Recommended time to go and queue is before 6pm for dinner time. ( what was recommended to me when I called)

Nonetheless, I met up with Lena & Koey for dinner and the bill came up to $85(?) After the entittled discount with passion card, each of us paid $25, which sums up to be $75.We were ridiculously full after the dinner , in fact we did not finish all the food. Less talk and here's what we had. I'm sorry I can't remember what is the name of the dishes we had!

My say:

Shiok!Maki is really dam shiok with all the fillings. I like Shiok! Maki Gen 2 better though. However, if you were to ask me how well I like the food, I would say not as good as what my friends have raved. It was not like a super-nice-omg-if-you-don't-try-you-will-regret-for-life kinda thing, I would say that it was a good experience and I would recommend to friends who wants to have Japanese cuisine with a Singaporean attitude. Staff there were quite patient with us and gave advices , we appreciate that despite its busy/messy scene in the shop.  Would I visit it again? Probably yes when there's no queue or when I have that adrenaline rush for their shiok maki !

Overall Rating : 3.8/5
